Hello my name is Mrs. Putnam and I had a conversation with Parris and Thomas today about the event of Betty being a victim of witchcraft. Several girls where caught dancing in the woods and seen flying over houses and barns. Every since Betty was caught dancing in the woods she has not waken from a sleep, and my poor Ruth is as spiritless as Betty. Abigail is denying any acts of witchery, but something more is going on than just dancing.
